Recently, the first domestically produced 140 MPa cage type throttle valve in China has been successfully applied in the Keshen 134 well in the Tarim Oilfield of PetroChina. The "guardian" Ma Lei checks its "physical condition" every day. The Keshen 134 well has maintained its momentum since being installed with "China Core" for 26 days, and as of July 13th, it has produced a total of 45.18 million cubic meters of gas.
Valves are essential control equipment in petrochemical production equipment. There are various types of valves, and with the continuous improvement of various complete equipment processes, the types of valves are still increasing. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, the petrochemical industry focused on the development of new valves for major engineering construction projects such as large-scale petrochemical, oil and gas gathering and transportation pipelines, and coal liquefaction. The production of high-temperature valves, large-diameter high-pressure ball valves, large-diameter oil pipeline ball valves, and low-temperature valves for liquefied natural gas used in the export pipelines of ethylene plants with a capacity of 800000 tons or above increased significantly.
Although China's petrochemical valves have made progress and occupy a place in the high-end market. However, in the petrochemical industry, products such as cage type throttle valves still need to be imported.
Kuqa Mountain Front is the main area for PetroChina to produce 30 billion cubic meters of natural gas in Tarim. The characteristics of single wells are characterized by ultra-deep, ultra-high pressure, and ultra-high temperature, requiring very high exploration and development technology and processes. Among them, the Keshen 13 block with an average burial depth of 7400 meters has a single well shut-in static pressure generally exceeding 110 MPa, and the complexity of gas reservoir development requires extremely high performance of wellhead throttle valves. This means that 100 megapascals is equivalent to carrying 10000 tons of weight per square meter. The enormous pressure makes it particularly difficult to extract every cubic meter of natural gas.
For a long time, the throttle valves used at the wellhead of Keshen Gas Field have relied on foreign imports, and not only are the key technologies subject to others. Moreover, the high cost and long purchase cycle are very unfavorable for the construction of engineering projects. Therefore, Tarim Oilfield will take the "140 MPa Localized Cage Type Throttling Valve Project" as a major pilot test project, making every effort to solve the practical problems faced in the development process of Keshen Gas Field.
The R&D personnel of this project have continuously optimized the sealing structure design and improved the material formula to address the development challenges of the Kuche Mountain front gas reservoir in the "Three Super" area. Despite the lack of reference experience at home and abroad, they have continuously strengthened the research and development of high-pressure blocks, pursued more reliable sealing technology, and achieved a 213 MPa strength pressure test without leakage, creating the highest record for dynamic sealing pressure resistance of similar products.
Through practice, it has been proven that the five exploration and evaluation wells deployed in the Keshen 13 block have all achieved high production gas flow, further confirming the natural gas scale of the Keshen 13 gas reservoir and directly promoting the drilling of the Keshen 21 well with a design depth of 8220 meters, accelerating the exploration process of the Tarim Oilfield towards a depth of 8000 meters.
At present, in response to the development challenges of the Kuqa Mountain front gas reservoir in the "three super" region, both domestically and internationally
